Pyrocynical (real name Niall Comas) is a British YouTuber known for commentary videos, MLG montage parodies, and long-form video essays on video games and internet culture. With approximately 4.5 million subscribers, he is one of the larger figures in the YouTube commentary community. Since 2016, Pyrocynical has faced multiple allegations regarding inappropriate online interactions with minors, culminating in a comprehensive 300+ page document released in 2025 titled "The Pyrocynical Files."

Note: This article documents allegations, responses, and evidence from multiple sources. Pyrocynical has issued responses to some allegations but has not responded to the 2025 document as of this article's creation. Background

Pyrocynical began his YouTube career in 2014 during the MLG montage parody era, gaining viral success with videos like "MLG Teletubbies." By summer 2014, he had surpassed 30,000 subscribers. His content evolved over the years from commentary videos criticizing other YouTubers to long-form video essays analyzing video games, movies, and internet phenomena.

His channel grew substantially, eventually reaching the milestone commemorated in his famous "So guys, we did it" speech upon reaching 250,000 subscribers, which itself became a widely-used meme. Pyrocynical is also known for his association with other commentary YouTubers including Dolan Dark, Turkey Tom, and his close friend ColossalIsCrazy.

2016 Keemstar Allegations (Louanne)

The first major controversy involving Pyrocynical emerged in April-June 2016 during a feud with Keemstar. After Pyrocynical criticized Keemstar's coverage of allegations against Tobuscus, Keemstar retaliated with a series of attacks, including leaking unreleased photos of Pyrocynical's face and making an allegation on stream:

Keemstar claimed that Pyrocynical had been "dating some like 14 year old French girl." Pyrocynical responded in a June 2016 video, calling the allegations "total bullsh*t" and claiming he knew exactly which individuals had told Keemstar the story.

The Interview (2021)

In March 2021, Keemstar claimed to have located and interviewed the alleged French girl, whose name is Louanne (known online as "Lou" or by her previous Twitter handle @Dumoria67). The interview was posted to SoundCloud rather than Drama Alert.

In the interview, Louanne made the following claims:

• She met Pyrocynical in 2015 when she was 14 and he was 18, initially as a fan artist
• After communicating in DMs, they began an online relationship that lasted approximately two weeks
• No inappropriate photos were exchanged; conversations were about games and normal topics
• Pyrocynical knew her birth year (2001) and that she was 14 at the time
• She alleged Pyrocynical stated he would "wait for her to turn 16" (the UK age of consent) before they could have a "proper relationship"

Louanne's age at the time (14, born July 14, 2001) has been corroborated through archived Twitter posts showing friends wishing her happy birthday and referring to her joining "the 14 year old club" in 2015.

Pyrocynical's Position

In his 2016 response video, Pyrocynical denied ever being in a relationship with Louanne and disputed the age gap, claiming the girl was 15 and he was 17 or the gap was only 2 years.

However, according to "The Pyrocynical Files" document, Pyrocynical's close associate ColossalIsCrazy confirmed in a 2021 podcast that the relationship did occur, though he characterized it as a "nothing-burger" since no explicit content was exchanged.

Disputed Elements

The allegation that Pyrocynical said he would "wait for her to turn 16" represents one of the more serious claims, as such language is commonly characterized as a grooming indicator. However, this claim comes solely from Louanne's account and has not been independently verified with documentation.

2020 Ivory Rasmus Allegations

On October 29, 2020, a Twitter user named Ivory Rasmus (born April 21, 2001) posted: "Pyrocynical groomed me and I have screenshots to prove it."

Initial Allegations

Ivory claimed that when he was 15, Pyrocynical (then 19) engaged in inappropriate conversations with him. The age gap between them was approximately 3 years and 11 months. Allegations included:

• Engaging in erotic roleplay (ERP) via Discord DMs
• Discussing sexual fetishes related to furry inflation content
• Asking Ivory to compile fetish content from certain websites

Ivory posted video evidence showing Discord DM conversations with a deleted user account, along with conversations with Pyrocynical's girlfriend Ida that appeared to acknowledge the situation.

Turkey Tom's Involvement

YouTuber Turkey Tom became heavily involved in the controversy, releasing multiple videos and compiling a Google Doc titled "Proving Pyrocynical's Guilt":

Response to the "18+ server" claim:

A widely-circulated claim that Ivory and Pyrocynical met in an 18+ furry RP server was debunked. YouTuber Diesel Patches, who originally suggested this, retracted the claim in a follow-up video, stating: "As far as I know, there isn't any proof that Pyro and Ivory came from an 18+ server."

According to witnesses, they met in SolidShibe's Discord server, which contained numerous minors including SolidShibe himself (age 15 at the time).

Public Reception

Following Pyrocynical's video response, public opinion largely shifted in his favor. Turkey Tom's videos received significant backlash and dislikes, and Tom lost approximately 15,000 subscribers. 2025 "The Pyrocynical Files" Document

In 2025, a comprehensive 300+ page Google Document titled "The Pyrocynical Files" was released, presenting new evidence and analysis aimed at debunking Pyrocynical's 2020 response.

Key Claims in the Document

Regarding the Ivory Rasmus situation:

The document alleges that Pyrocynical lied about his Twitter suspension preventing him from seeing Ivory's age-related tweets:

• On April 5, 2017 (during the claimed suspension period from December 28, 2016 to June 29, 2017), Pyrocynical linked one of Ivory's tweets in their Discord DMs, proving he was actively viewing Ivory's Twitter account
• In a May 1, 2017 YouTube video, Pyrocynical is shown browsing a Twitter user's recent tweets
• In a January 15, 2017 video, he referenced YouTube's Twitter bio, indicating he could access profiles
• In a 2018 video, Pyrocynical himself stated: "You can see all of Twitter. You can't tweet anything, you can't post anything, you can't interact with anyone... BUT you're allowed to see your notifications"

The document also highlights "red flags" suggesting Pyrocynical may have known Ivory's age earlier than claimed:

Ancient Reality (Mick): The document alleges Pyrocynical knew that Louanne (the 14-year-old French girl he allegedly dated) subsequently entered a relationship with a 23-year-old man named Ancient Reality, yet remained friends with him.

Vagabonds/Memecorp: The document alleges Pyrocynical knew that this 19-year-old YouTuber had sexual contact with a 15-year-old and helped cover it up.

Pyrocynical's Response (2025)

As of the document's release, Pyrocynical addressed it briefly on a livestream, stating:

• He acknowledged the document exists and claimed to know who created it based on hidden replies on the burner account that posted it
• He stated he would need to wait for YouTubers to cover it before responding, similar to his approach in 2020
• He characterized the 300+ pages as deliberately "bloated" to overwhelm viewers with short attention spans
• He stated: "I got two choices now. I basically put my head under the sand and I stop working and then my employees suffer... or I just keep working until it comes to that point."

Shadman Association

"The Pyrocynical Files" document dedicates a section to Pyrocynical's public interactions with Shadman, a notorious artist known for creating sexualized content of minors including lolicon and CSAM-adjacent material depicting real children.

Background on Shadman

Shadman (real name Shadai Prejean) operated the website "Shadbase" where he posted explicit content. In late 2016, he created sexualized artwork of:

• Keemstar's 8-year-old daughter
• Dafne Keen (actress from Logan, age 12 at the time)
• LtCorbis (then 11 years old)

Pyrocynical's close associate ColossalIsCrazy publicly confronted Shadman about this content on a livestream in November 2016.

Role in Ivory Situation

• Ida (born March 19, 2000) allegedly knew Ivory was a minor and was willing to create furry fetish art commissions for him in 2017 when he disclosed his age
• The 2025 document alleges Ida was commissioned by Pyrocynical to create NSFW content of his fursona when she was 16-17 years old
